In Tibetan rugs were woven mainly as a hobby or to sell in small markets. Common size was 3 feet by 6 feet because one person could weave it and Tibetan beds were roughly 3 feet by 6 feet. Commercialization of Tibetan rugs started in exile mainly in Kathmandu, Nepal in the eighties and was mass produced in different sizes and designs to Europe and North America.
We have rugs in sizes from 18"X 18" to up to 8' X 10.' Rugs are made from sheep wool and we have both traditional design and modern design. If you are interested in tiger rugs, we have them.
